I really loved this book! So happy that everything worked out for Johnnie in the end! I also love that there is some historical fiction in these books. It gives a small insight to what the south was like in the 50's as far as inter-racial relations and what feelings could have been on both sides. The twists and turns in these book really want to keep you reading. I am excited to read the next 2 books to see what happened before Johnnie Wise, now that we know her life story so far...
