If you're a fan of Lewis Black's brand of irreverent humor, you'll love his latest book. It's all about religion and spirituality, and pokes fun of everybody liberally across the board, from Christians and Jews to Muslims and Athiests. It's well written, with crisp short chapters covering all kinds of things - a few of the funniest include his checklists of "Reasons Why I Believe in God" and "Reasons Why I Don't Believe in God" and the section on what it was like to grow up Jewish in a predominantly Christmas culture during the Christmas season. Having grown up with a Christian background and married a Jewish man, I found myself laughing so hard I was crying at some of the funny things we ALL do in the name of religious/spiritual beliefs and rituals. As Mr. Black says himself in the intro, if you're super sensitive about your religion, this is probably not the book for you - but if you have a sense of humor about even serious subjects, this is a really delightful and very funny read.

He moves from the sublime to the ridiculous too quickly.
