This was my very favorite book when I was little. It was one of the few I actually owned. We didn't have a lot of money and so the library was close and went every week. but this book I had before I learned to read and then read once I could read it myself. I just loved it. It was a happy book. When I was pregnant with my daughter I began scouring antique stores to find a copy for her as mine is without front or back covers. We eventually found a copy. Now I enjoy reading it to her. I just love this book. I have happy memories of learning to read this book.
