Who doesn't love a Little Golden Book? The Little Red Hen is the age-old tale about reaping what you sow. I think every child should be exposed to such classic stories as this one.
It was perfect to share with my Kindergarten class.
This brought back SO many memories. The lesson is still as strong as it was decades ago when I was first introduced to it. I am happy to introduce my toddler to the story and have her learn that when you help you receive the benefit (and it is worth more too for having worked for it).
