As an adult the book is interesting and beautiful. How well it will communicate to/with a child will depend on the range of perception of the person reading the book with/to a child.
This book was obtained for use by a CWG group facilitator and expected to be helpful for visual learners rather than those who learn by reading books. However, while it is a beautiful rendering of linear words from a CWG book, it did not accomplish what was hoped for the learing impaired.
To be fair, realize the reviewer is a male with a body age of 83, who did not test this WITH a small child - which seems the creditable way to verify whether this book accomplishes its goal. An adult reading the book to/with a child will most likely have to be able to devise how to convey the portion of the 'life journey' not included in the book.
Why not read it yourself and provide a review!

Strongly New Age. Not a Christian book. Content is very offensive to this Bible-believing, follower of Jesus.
