We first met Myron Bolitar back in 1995 in the book Deal Breaker. He was an athlete knocked out of the game by an injury right before his first professional start so he became a Sports Agent to keep him in the game if only from the sidelines. But he was more than an agent, he was a friend, a confidant, a problem solver, and a guy with an enormous heart that to protect his clients he also eventually becomes a private eye.

With the help of his friends, Windsor Horne Lockwood III (Win), and two gals who were a former tag team with the Fabulous Ladies Of Wrestling (FLOW), MB Reps has grown into a firm that not only handles athletes, but authors, actors, artists, and musicians.

In this book we learn more about Myron's family and his past as he is forced to deal with some family issues. He is also trying to help former tennis star Suzze T (Trevantino) and rock star husband Lex get to the bottom of a paternity issue being posed about their unborn child on a Facebook page. Myron also learns that his family issues and these baby issues are intertwined in a way that leads him down a very dangerous path as he tries to find the truth that has been hidden for more than 15 years.

I LOVED IT!!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!! I LOVED IT!!!!!

If you have read the previous 9 Myron Bolitar novels and you think you know Myron Bolitar you will realize early into this book that you didn't know him at all.

Harlan Coben is by far the best author ever of the suspense thriller. He grabs you from the first word and like the title of one of his previous novels HOLD(s on) TIGHT until the very last word and leaves you wanting more. The difference between this novel and others in this series is than we learn more about Myron Bolitar than we ever have before and Coben ties it into the latest mystery brilliantly. What starts out as a simple question of who posted the anonymous Facebook comment builds into the thriller Coben is famous for, and brings to light the things Bolitar has kept hidden or to himself in the other books.

This is definitely a book you will want to read in one sitting, so plan accordingly and be prepared for a few surprises. This book proves than even Harlan Coben still has plenty up his sleeve to thrill and entertain us. Coben himself is the LIVE WIRE!!!

This book blew me away. Having read the other 9 Myron Bolitar books (which I loved) I expected more of the same. I was pleasantly surprised. If you've read the preceeding stories and throught you knew the characters, be prepared because you will find that you knew nothing. If you haven't picked up the series, this is an excellent start. Fun, well paced and keenly plotted Coben takes the reader through a wide variety of emotions right along with the characters.

It is a great read, one filled with the usual banter between Myron and his wonderful friend, Win. In this book, Win becomes so much more than just a good friend. I finished the book quickly due to the fact that I just could not put it down. Be prepared - this is a great ride!! I guarantee there are no pages to skip in this book.

Harlan Coben starts all of his books so that one doesn't want to put the book down. His stories, and this one no different, gets your attention right away. Great reading. One of the best things about his books is that he might use some of the same characters but the story is always new. Whoever reads this book will enjoy Bolitar, the main character in several books.

It's been too long since the last Myron Bolitar book (I've read them all) and this one did not disappoint! From the first page I was hooked and then I just couldn't put it down. As always, Harlan Coben starts the book with a single puzzle piece, and throughout the rest he will give you one piece of the puzzle at a time, adding twist after twist to keep you guessing till the end. Great story!

I am a HUGE Harlan Coben fan, and always look forward to a fun ride when I open his books. That being said, I was very disappointed in "Live Wire." The storyline did not draw me in and grab me as I've come to expect from Coben's writings, and I found the backstory of Myron and his families (both blood and via work) to be quite sad.

very good story, Coben can put a story together that keeps moving right along with characters that will grab your heart, the ending of this one came as a complete surprise and makes you wonder what happens in the future.

I love the Myron Bolitar series. The relationship between Wynn and Myron keep me coming back for more. The fact that they solve murders and find people an added delight. I hope Mr. Coben keeps them coming at least until Myron and Wynn are old codgers still doing their thing.

Once again, no laundry, grocery shopping or cleaning took place this weekend. I stayed up reading way too late last night and picked up again this morning. The Myron Bolitar series is different from other Coben books, if you know Coben only from his thrillers, this is much different. Give it a chance and you will want to go back and read the previous Myron Bolitar books.

It was a long wait to be with Myron and Win again, but worth it. I really did not expect the ending, it never entered my mind. I feel like the characters are people I know and I feel like I am in the action. I love to read Harlen Coben from the moment I read the first book years ago. I love Myron, Win, Esperanza and Cindy and I hope to be able to spend time with them in the future.

When Myron Bolitar meets with his client, Suzze T, she is upset. The former tennis star is eight months pregnant. She says her husband, rock star Lex Ryder, left her after seeing a post on facebook which alluded to the fact that the baby was not his. She asks Myron to find Lex for her. With the help of Win, Esperanza, and Big Cyndi, finding Lex at a Manhatten party isn't too hard. But Myron is shocked to also find his sister-in-law, Kitty Bolitar. Before he can talk to her, Kitty takes off. Lex and his entourage have also disappeared. Now Myron is searching for Lex, Kitty, and his estranged brother, Brad, who he hasn't talk to in sixteen years.

This is the 10th book in the Myron Bolitar series and it grabbed me from the first chapter. Myron is desperate to find his brother and will do anything necessary to accomplish the task. I pulled an all-nighter because I couldn't put this book down. My rating: 5 Stars.

Absolutely loved this book. I've read all the other ones as well and this is definitely one of my favorites. It is fast paced and keeps you guessing. Lots of silly humor as well.

Sad to say this is probably the end of the Win/Myron/Esperanza team. I know Coben is moving towards young adult books with Mickey and will see more of the gang there, but it's not the same.

Such an excellent read!!!!

Another fast read by Harlan Coben - one of the things I love about the Myron Bolitar character and his eccentric friends and associates is the fast-paced dialogue and heavy sarcasm. This story doesn't disappoint. There does seem to be some finality to these characters though, or maybe they are just going to take a much needed vacation and Coben is going to delve into a new world.

Book Description
When Myron Bolitar gets involved in the family drama of his former tennis star client and her rock star husband, he discovers secrets about his own family, specifically his brother, who abandoned the Bolitars long ago. As Myron races to locate his missing brother while their father clings to life, he must face the lies that led to their estrangement-including the ones told by Myron himself.

My Review
This book revealed a lot about Myron's past, his brother and sister-in-law and nephew, Mickey, and has a feeling of the series coming to an end. But, we now know that after 4-1/2 years we have another Myron Bolitar novel to look forward to by the name of Home. I would be truly sad if I knew for sure that Live Wire was the last book as I have really enjoyed the ride with Myron and friends. I love the humor in Coben's books and the plot twists keep you turning the pages until the very last page. This one is a definite must read as you learn things about Myron that you never knew before. I am really looking forward to reading the next book in the series and honestly hope it's not the last one for sure!

A lot of dialog, but interesting.

This was my first Harlan Coben book. It was short and felt somewhat rushed. I didn't find myself really caring about any of the characters or what happened to them. Perhaps because I've not read any of the other books in this series, I didn't feel like I knew the characters very well or their history. I also didn't understand why if Myron, the main character, was an entertainment agent, what he was doing investigating people in general or doing recognizance work. There was a disconnect between what the story was about, and why the people in it were constantly in danger. Unfortunately, I wasn't impressed.

Too much recycling. It's time for Myron Bolitar and his crew to be put out to pasture.
