It was fun to read about the author's family moving to Red Lake County, Minnesota. I found the part about people needing space to live interesting too, especially since Minneapolis and St. Paul are all about building "density." Having spent time in the opposite corner of the state, I can relate to people knowing my name before I had even met them. It does get cold in Minnesota, but it's part of what makes us Minnesotans.
