This was a fascinating look at the lives of famous conjoined twins, Daisy and Violet Hilton. They were given up by their mother and taken in by a woman who would orchestrate the beginning of their careers. From sideshows to vaudeville to films, the twins were at one time two of the most famous girls in the world. The book chronicles their lives and how they never achieved their goals of giving up showbusiness to get married and raise a family.

fascinating book about conjoined twins whose unmarried mother gave away to a couple who knew they would be able to make money from them. The twins were used in "freak" shows and then went on to star in higher class shows. Amazing read
