I found it fascinating that the therapist-patient relationship could transcend their traditional roles. While reincarnation may not be easy for most people brought up in certain religions to accept (including me), the basic messages that underline the points that Catherine, through her many lives, brings to light are universal and left me feeling more emotionally aware and at peace. I also thought it was cool that a therapist with these credentials would go on a limb and talk about these experiences. For me, a quick and consciousness-raising read.

One of the best and most objective books on reincarnation and past lives that you'll ever read. This book spurred me into becoming a Board Certified Hypnotherapist to explore the topic further. I also attended a Brian Weiss seminar over a weekend and he's incredible. GREAT book!

This book was recommended to me by a friend and I'm so glad I read it. I know that the content is hard for a lot of people to believe but I do believe it. I believe that there is more outside of this life and I do believe that people who have passed on are still with us in one way or another. I have recommended this book to so many people because I think everyone can take something away from it. It honestly made me feel more at peace with my daily life and made me feel differently about the family members that I have lost. I look forward to seeing them again someday. A wonderful book.

I thoroughly enjoyed Many Lives Many Masters. It unfolded naturally and shed light on the reasons why people continue to experience the same problems from one lifetime to another. It was too believeable not to be believed. I highly recommend this interesting book on the subject of past-life regression therapy. For all those unanswered questions nagging you, this book might have the key to better understanding yourself.

LOVED this book! I couldn't put it down. It's a fascinating story of a woman who visits a doctor's office with a multitude of problems. The doctor hypnotizes her and she ends up going back into past lives. Great true story!

this book makes me hopeful that i will be able to see loved ones that pass both before and after i do. it also has brought a peace to my daily life that comforts me. i don't know if it is true or not first hand. but, i do believe that it is true, if for no other reason, in that it makes me feel good to believe it.

This is an interesting account of a psychiatrist who has a client who regresses into past lives during hypnotherapy. At first he is analytical and his questions do not appear to be leading, but then later on, when his client starts recounting the same lives, he leads her. I'm not sure that is scientifically rigorous enough for me to believe the account fully, but it is certainly fascinating. I read it in one day. I only give it 3.5 stars due to my doubts about the scientific claim of the book. Otherwise a fascinating read.

Just didn't find it credible at all. Come on, the author was Diogenes?? Voices from the Beyond spoke through a hypnotized patient just to give him special messages?? For a more serious discussion of past life experiences/reincarnation, read Life Before Life written by a UV professor who has spent the last 40 years studying young children who remember previous lives.

Riveting. I still keep thinking about some of the things in this book and how it relates to reincarnation. The how we heal our corporeal bodies by how our souls heal going back to the God essence in the between phases of what we call death.

Two ways exist for me to analyze and review Many Lives, Many Masters: The True Story of a Prominent Psychiatrist, His Young Patient, and the Past-Life Therapy That Changed Both Their Lives by Brian L. Weiss, MD. The book is about a belief in reincarnation and the ability to learn from past lives. Whether or not your believe in that is your choice and not the subject of this review. Looking at the book a case study from the scientific community, this book is not for me because of both what it includes and what it leaves out.
