I love GGM! He is in his 80s now & has finally decided to write an autobiography as a trilogy. This is the 1st & only book that's been published so far (that I know of).

If you've already read "100 Years of Solitude" then you'll realize that a lot of what most people assumed was exaggerated "Magical Realism" was much closer to the truth than any of us would probably even have dreamed.

I highly recommend this book for anyone who loves Gabriel Garcia Marquez. I also look forward to reading the next 2 volumes when they are available.

Gavriel Garcia Marquez wrote this as an autobiography that explains a lot of his ideas and family background that is used in 1000 years of Solitude.

You get the idea that he would be a fascinating dinner guest as he's a great story teller.

Autobiography of Gabriel Garcia Marquez. Read as though it is fiction.
