Creepy and scary and I loved every minute of it!
Not a big fan of Sager but this one was very good and creepy!
My main con about her writing is she gets too wordy and stretches out pages with repeat repeat repeat and that gets old and boring
This story is very good and it's a quick read because in the places that it's too wordy it's very easy to skim read those pages and move on with story

I loved the premise, but it is a tad slow to get rolling. But I definitely kept wondering where they were? What had happened? The end was very good.
This is one of those page-turners where you think you know where it's heading (initially a little disappointing) but actually veers into the unexpected and something a lot more sinister (and satisfying for those of us who prefer thrillers that skim along the edge of horror). Yikes. This may be fiction, but really, stuff like this could really happen. There are a lot of strange folks out there on the hunt for the vulnerable. This is an unnerving tale with plenty of tense moments that should remind all of us to heed our gut feelings. Relatable characters, a nail-biting plot, and smooth writing make Lock Every Door a 4-star winner.
Kind of a wild ride! Starts off at a good pace then slows down a bit, gets a little wordy and repetitive, then the pace picks up again and twists and turns, gets creepy then blindsides you and ends with a wrecking ball.
A scary page turner start to finish! Yikes!
