From the moment Nore Robbins arrives to spend the summer with her father's new family, she senses a creepy feeling of danger. Nora with her uncanny awareness of time, soon realizes that Shadow Grove is a place where time dosen't seem exist. Somwhow her presence poses a threat to the secret this family is guarding. She wants to make her father understand, but he's mesmerrized by Lisette. How can Nora prove that while time can stand still for some, it;s running out for her?

Excellent story for young readers, does have some words that might be hard for younger than 12 but can be conquered.
it was very slow to start with, but once i got into it i couldnt stop and the ending was amazing. great read.
This takes place in New England. The time! You need to decide that for yourself.This book gives a new meaning to the word -repete- I figured out the plot half way thru but could'nt wait to see how it did end. What a surprise!
I am nine years old.I love mystery and suspense and this is one of the best I have read!!!I could not put this book down!!
