A humorous romance about a small town reporter who likens herself to Lois Lane and her good looking big town boss whom she likens to Clark Kent. While there is no Superman appearances, there is action to be had. While covering a church bake-off, Susan manages to ruffle feathers and two attempts on her life are made. This makes for good newstories for a small town newspaper trying to be profitable again.
The Mystery Club, a small group of elderly folks and their caretaker who are avid fans of CSI, take it on themselves to solve this mystery as well and started their own forensic investigation using a kit they purchased. This adds humor to the story as well.
Lois Lane Tells All is a fun summer read. It's a humorous romance with lots of quirkiness. The sex scenes go rather quickly, unlike other books that go on for pages. Susan is feisty, Mark is adorable, and there are some other hotties in the book to that only hint of future romance stories to be told in the town of Glory. And, yes, there is a puppy that comes into the story too. Lastly, the "mystery" unraveled was an interesting surprise that only added to the charm of Glory's townsfolk.

simply a fun story to read!
This is one of those quick reading, happy stories with a pleasant boy and girl clash, with a happy ending. A light theme, and an enjoyable way to spend a rainy afternoon or a snowy evening. The author has a light touch with love.
I like Hawkins; historic romances more. I found the town of Glory a little too picturesque. Deep down inside everyone has a hard of gold, even if they make mistakes.
Hawkins did a little too much telling and not enough showing when it comes to the relationship between Mark and Susan. As a result, I found that even though it was nice they found their happily ever after I knew it wouldn't have killed me if they didn't.
It was still a decent read but I was disappointed especially because it was such a strong beginning. It lacked the humor, spark, and banter I'm used to with her books.
