The darkened atmosphere of the London Blitz creates a perfect opportunity for a modern-day Jack the Ripper to prey on unsuspecting young women. But in the end he is no match for famous mystery writer Agatha Christie Mallowan and famous pathologist Sir. Bernard Spilsbury who team up to stop the nefarious goings on.

I have only read two books from Max Collins' 'Disaster' series, but this must be the best one as it is an outstanding read.
The novel stars Agatha Christie Mallowan---England's First Lady of Crime. About three chapters in I suddenly realized I felt I was reading an Agatha Christie mystery, as Collins did such a good job in duplicating her style in the book.
As just like Christie, he threw in a number of of red herrings. When the murderer is finally revealed, I had to re-read two pages to make sure I understood what had happened.
