I have never written a review before but this book was so bad that I felt obligated. The plot was full of holes, the dialogue was awful and it was clear that the author had done zero research on police or FBI procedure. Even the sex scenes were boring. I skimmed the last 80 pages and am not sure why I even bothered. I won't waste my time with this author again!

This book did indeed fall short. Her male characters seem to be domineering assholes. Her female characters seem to be angry, with a chip on their shoulder--but then of course give in to the "big strong man" who forces them.
Overall, I find her books disturbing. This author tends to gravitate toward slave/rape/bondage sex scenes--more so in the first book than in this one, granted...but still, her fascination with female submission & male domination leaves me feeling nauseous.
I would actually rather read a sickly-sweet guaranteed-happy-ending Harlequin romance than this twisted drivel.
