Chloe Peterson is running scared from her past when her car breaks down and she is rescued by the handsome Chase Sullivan. He is used to beautiful women, since he photographs them regularly, but there is something about Chloe that grabs him from the start. He finds her lovely.

Chloe is hesitant to label the feelings she has for Chase, but she cant deny they are there. She ends up sticking around to help him with his photo shoot and the attraction between them grows with every moment.

There is a lot of sex in this book and while I am a fan of sex in all its forms, I found it to be excessive in this story. Chase has some stamina and the scenes were deliciously written, I just would have liked them to know each other a little more out of the sheets, too. Another reason for the lower rating was the dialogue. Some of it was downright hokey.

Despite those minor flaws, I liked this book. It was cute and the Sullivan clan intrigues me. I am really interested in reading about Marcus whose story comes next. It is not the most imaginative or surprising romantic read, but it served its purpose as a pleasurable enough tale and I liked it enough to want to read more.

Oh my. What a man. What a family.

I had just finished another book this morning that I had to fight to finish. I had this one on a wish list and had gotten chosen to review it. Boy am I glad I had it. I started it and finished it in less than three hours. The interaction with the characters was great. The emotions and sex was wonderfully handled. I enjoyed it very much.

Chase was so patient with Chloe and Chloe didn't let her past ruin her future. I felt so bad for Jeremy bless his heart.

I can't wait to read the rest of the Sullivan family's stories. Marcus, what's in store for you?

This is a sweet, sexy, lovely book. It is the first of 8 books about the Sullivan family. Chase Sullivan is a photographer. He received his first camera from his father at age 10. He became a professional about a decade later. Chloe is a battered woman. This is definitely a love story! A fast and compelling read. I can't wait to get Book 2.

This is my first Andre book. I loved the characters but I wished the author spent less times on sex scenes. I am not a prude by any means but they weren't that exciting. Chase also had a very limited vocabulary when it comes to Chloe. I think "lovely" was used about a million times. I actually would have liked it if Chloe's ex played a bigger role here. Her problems cleaned up rather too easily with him.

Andre sets up this series about a big family yet she doesn't include a lot of big family interaction that makes these books interesting. But it's a really easy read and it's intriguing enough that I would check out the second book. I don't think it's worth real money or credits though.

Sweet, spicy, and character-driven romance between a battered heroine on the run and a hotshot photographer. Chase falls in love FAST and Chloe just a little less so. I can certainly understand lust at first sight, but falling in love that fast was pushing the boundaries of believability. Nevertheless, it was good to see that Chase was a sensitive man, that Chloe was able to find the strength to trust and love again, all while succumbing to a sexually explosive and emotionally tender romance. Predictable but entertaining. 3.5 stars.

This is the first romance book I've read in awhile, so I think that's why I enjoyed it more than some other reviewers. I don't remember too many sex scenes, though it's true, the attraction between them starts at the beginning.

The story line of an abused woman finding a man that is so sweet and caring is what drew me to the book. I enjoyed it!

This is the first book that I have received that I simply could not recommend. Poor story line, the two people did nothing but have sex in almost every chapter. They fell in love at first sight and couldn't keep their hands off of each other. Another brother's story line was started in this book, but nothing came of it.

An introduction to the Sullivan family. Chase rescues Chloe on the side of the road on his way to his brother's vineyard. The attraction is instant and things move rather quickly. Interesting family dynamics. There are 8 siblings so I am sure there are quite a few more to follow. Not my favorite book by far but a quick easy read. 3 stars

Average for me. Nothing stands out in this one. Typical contemporary romance. It would have been a better with more character development.
I didn't care for Chloe's woe-is me I'm an only child and my parents weren't very affectionate so I jumped into a controlling, loveless, and later abusive marriage. More background info would have been nice.
Ohhhh but I did find out all the brothers like to "...screwing anything that moves..." Wow, really??? Anything??? Well, except for Chase. He has met Chloe. Oh, and probably Marcus (don't cha know he's got Jill). How discriminating.
Another rant: When I think of "nearly," I think very close. Like 2, maybe 3 years from 2 decades. So with the phrase, "Nearly two decades of as much sex as he wanted with models and actresses..." I think EWWWW!!!! I know I don't want to read about the main character having sex at 14-15 years of age (he's 32). I would have preferred it to say a decade/nearly a decade. Not only is this more believable, but much less of an ick factor.
