I'm a fledgling writer that's looking to team up with another writer in order to help with our writings, give encouragement and motivate.

I tend to write short, sometimes silly pieces of fiction, romance or fantasy. I don't mind if my partner doesn't write those genres as long as they're dedicated to writing fiction.

The only other thing I must let people know is that this is something I'm serious about. Thus, I hope anyone who contacts me will be dedicated to swapping work at least once a week. The amount of writing can vary depending on our schedules, but I'm really looking to create a long and lasting partnership.

I never thought of being a partner, but I have edited a couple of works, and my own.  I write nonfiction, but I can work with fiction, too.  I took a night class a few years ago (after I wrote my first book) about writing fiction (got an A), so I know I could help, especially with sentence structure, spelling, and punctuation.  In the books I read I notice the mistakes - typographical errors, spelling, improper sentences, poor choices of words used, one word spelled as two words (and vice versa), and bad paragraphing.  I would be glad to go over anything you want my opinion of, I probably would have done better with my 1st book with someone to bounce ideas off.  Last Dec. I stepped down as the editor of the Knights of Columbus monthly newsletter, and I still write the minutes of our meetings. Sincerely, Bob

I kind of need something like this. I haven't been writing in a while and I need something to start motivating me to actually get back into it. I have so many novels that need to be edited and completed. I think something like this will help me get into the writing again.  I write Mystery, Fantasy, and Science Fiction.  Though I'm sure there will be other things I write also over time.  If you're still looking for a partner perhaps we can give this a try.
