Definitely not the quality of writing you'd expect from Dawn Thompson. I only got half way through this one before I put it down. The Lord of the Forest, Marius, was a great strong character in her other books but in his own book he was just wimpy and ineffective. What a dissappointment!

This whole series was disappointing to say the least. I went in with such high hopes and was let down. As with the 2nd in the series, I mostly skimmed this one just to get through it.
