Note: Slightly jaundiced review in 3, 2, 1...
The depressed Southern writer discusses how much he hates current civilization in a darkly humorous, faux-self-help method. I picture this man as talking to himself a lot. Printed evidence that a person can be witty, intelligent, and still miserable. My ex-bf liked this writer very much...I shoulda read Percy's books a lot sooner and would have realized more!
