Before Ellen DeGeneres, before Rosie ODonnell, before Sarah Silverman there was Erma Bombeck! Funny stuff from a comic legend.
Erma Bombeck is always fun to read, even if she is a little outdated nowadays, she still makes me laugh.

The back cover says:
"Before you read this book, there are a few things you should know about me.
I consider ironed sheets a health hazard.
Children should be judged on what they are--a punishment for an early marriage.
Husbands are married for better or worse--but not for lunch.
Mothers-in-law who wear a black armband to the wedding are expendable..."
