I really loved this sweet and uplifting book about a girl whose mom abandons her but who is helped by two elderly folks who have experienced their own loss. The accents of the readers of the audiobook make it all the more enjoyable.
This is a book about a 7-year-old girl who's father passes away and her mother abandons her. by unforeseen, sometimes hilarious circumstances, she gets together with two elderly people and they set out on a quest to find her mother.
Although I enjoyed the book, I felt some parts (not going into detail as to ruin the story for other readers) were unnecessary and wasn't really happy with the end as I felt it left you hanging and did not really answer all questions as to the status of the little girl.
Overall, it was a good, fast read and will keep you interested and give you a few laughs.
