Such a great read. I loved this book, as I have loved all of Thomas Thompson
books. A true tale of a sea adventure that turned deadly. I could not put this book down and read it in two days. If you are into adventure books this is the one for you.

A yound husband and wife on summer vacation from their teaching positions set sail from Washington state with their brother-in-law on his beautiful, handcrafted sailboat. A devout Seventh Day Adventist, the brother-in-law is bound for South America to begin missionaly work, with his family to follow later. During a terrible storm off the coast of California, they are not only blown far out to sea, but the boat capsizes. All three survive the accident and manage to access a large air pocket in the upside-down craft. Their ordeal lasted over 40 days with minimal food and water as their minds, bodies, and spirits are tested to the breaking point. Like all of Thomas Thompson's books, this one is beautifully written. Don't start reading it until you have time to finish it - I couldn't put it down.
This is a great adventure story! A quick read, straight to the point that I enjoyed very much!
Great book! Definately caught my attention and kept it till the very last page.
Oh man, if you like true adventure, this is a good one. Three people lost at sea in a sailboat. Each person reveals what they're really made of and reveal their real character. Small book packed with adventure.
From the cover: "Terrifying but true! Two men and one beautiful woman... shipwrecked, desperate, about to do the unthinkable." Old book, but in excellent condition.
amazing true story or survival
Got this in the mail from the Swap this past Friday, read it Saturday, posting it Tuesday! Strange how sometimes you think you know someone, just because you're related...
