This is the best book I've read on recent discoveries in the Valley of the Kings. Doctor Weeks describes how the tomb of Ramses II's sons was discovered and excavated. He also describes the everday happenings that occurred during his seasons in Egypt. I was startled to read his matter-of-fact account of work at KV5, when the terrorist attack occurred on tourists and Egyptians at Deir el-Bahari in November of 1997. There are maps showing possible locations of tombs as yet undiscovered. A very great read by a very honest and talented man. Dawn
