Didn't like the way it was written, the lack of punctuation made it sometimes hard to follow. It flipped around in timing from before to during to after. This was not the story of a mother or waitress or 17 year old child, this was a story of a girl/woman who had absolutely no self-knowledge or self-esteem. She was damaged, she was very promiscuous, she clearly hated herself. I found the main character to be slutty, and most of the other characters to be pornographic. I almost didn't finish it because about 2/3 of the way through I realized that there was no point to the book. I finished because I thought it might be redeemable towards the end. It wasn't.
