I found this story to be well written and endearing. Leigh Greenwood's character development easily allowed me to like (or dislike) all of Cactus Creek's citizens. I liked the plot because it wasn't just a love story; it was a story about a young and smart woman finding her resolve and about a kind man not giving up on finding a long lost family member. Overall, I found this to be a nice "Happily Ever After" with a western twist. I recommend 'To Love and to Cherish' if you enjoy historical romances and are looking for a quick and delightful read.
