Excellent true crime. This is so well written that you think you are reading a thriller/mystery fiction book, unfortunately everything is true. The characters jump off the pages and you feel that you know them, the courtroom chapters make you think like a juror, overall a great read, fast, thrilling and of course, unfortunately true.
I have tried and tried to read true crime by Phelps but it is so hard to do when he just goes on and on and puts in descriptions that no one cares about, he has to detail every person in the book from the time they are born (seems like) and the true crime story kind of gets lost in all the unnecessary descriptions and I get tired of trying to wade through pages and pages of nothing, his tv program on ID isn't any better, they keep showing him talking to 'Raven'? I have my doubts that is even a true person!
