I don't read a lot of Amish books, but this one was very good. The main characters were Englischers, though the family of Rachel were Amish, including an aunt with Down's Syndrome. Storyline was different from anything I've read before, so kept me coming back every chance I could. This was my first book by this author but will not be my last.

This was my first book by Serena Miller and it certainly won't be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and loved how it wasn't your typical Amish book. I especially loved how the murder of Grace was solved with a twist, I didn't see it coming.

This was one of the better Amish romances that I have read. It had an original plot with wonderful characters that you cared about. I look forward to reading more from this author.

LOVE the book! I grew up in Dover, Ohio and knew every place that was mentioned by the author. The storyline kept me coming back! Like the other reviewers said, it wasn't your typical Amish storyline but very believable! I have a friend whose father grew up Amish but was never baptized into the faith. My friend has many Amish relatives. I visit Sugarcreek anytime I am in town. LOVE the Dry goods store that is downtown. The book I got off PBS actually had a price tag from The Gospel Store, which is in downtown Sugarcreek! =o)

Excellent story by Serena Miller. I really enjoyed the characters in the book. It's not often that a Down's Syndrome adult woman (Amish at that!) is a major character in a book. I would love a sequel! Highly recommended.
