It's been years since I read a romance and I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by this series, set in locations with sweet or unusual names all over the US. So far, the characters I've encountered resemble people you might meet walking down your own street and they're not one-dimensional. This one, despite the cover, is a romance featuring mature people. Refreshingly different from the romance novels I've read before.

The Love Finds You series is a perfect "relaxer". It is easy to breeze thru, plots keep your attention and is always finished way to soon. This series is fun, each written by a different author with a setting in a different amazing place to live. So far i have read 5 and have loved every one. This one is a cute story about Amanda who owns a bicycle shop in Treasure Island Flordia. I love that attention is given to the town and it's stores and way of life there. Of course this is a light romance and there are some family issues, but this is what makes the book interesting. Just a good series to become attached to.

Amanda owns a bicycle shop in Treasure Island, FL. She didn't have the best life growing up, but along the way she found a way to make it through with God's help. She has been dealing with her much younger sister Lacy who is a school teacher who acts like a child herself.
An older couple dealing with some health issues go on vacation with their son Jerry. Jerry works from home and constantly orders a Tandem bike from Amanda's shop. He has been wanting to ask her out but hasn't known how to at all. Dealing with his parents is a struggle at times, but a blessing too.
While this was a nice Christian love story, there are unanswered questions I have about the plot and the characters that were never worked out or explained, leaving it a bit too open. The book kinda went in circles for a while and then rushed to an ending.
I've read about 10 of these "Love Finds You In" books so far. This one is probably my second least favorite. :(

A good, light summer read. Some of the characters were annoying, but they were real to life. The heroine was sweet and had to learn to quit letting people around her take advantage of her. I would recommend this book.
