Futuristic erotic romance from siren Publishing. Emilia is a trained healer, who signs up for the adventure of a lifetime, when she joins the crew of the space cargo ship, the Tamora Bight. Emilia falls in love with her three crewmates, and they with her. The plot is good, the writing is good, the sex scenes are scorching. Contains m/f, m/m/f/m menage. My only complaint is the author's constant use of the same phrases over and over: "sweetie," "baby girl," and "my boys." A little annoying. Overall the book is better than just good.

As previous reviewers have said, this book does have some annoying factors, the heroine is frequently (IMO)a little too naive acting to be credible. And the overuse of the pet names does make the reader wonder a little if the author used them so as not to get confused by using actual names.
All that said, the thing that I absolutely loved about this book is the relationship between the three guys. There is definite partnership and a feeling of togetherness that just gets to me. That reason alone was reason enough for this book to land on my keeper list and stay there until I got a digital copy to replace my print. Of course, it also happens to occur in one of my favorite locales...space.
While I have read better books by this author (Fierce Radiance and Acquainted with the Night), it is definitely not the worst I have read and is an enjoyable quick read.
All that said, the thing that I absolutely loved about this book is the relationship between the three guys. There is definite partnership and a feeling of togetherness that just gets to me. That reason alone was reason enough for this book to land on my keeper list and stay there until I got a digital copy to replace my print. It was initially 4 stars but TD uses the "it was all a dream" plot device that left me feeling cheated, so much so that even though there was still a bit left after that part, I had to push myself to finish the book (whereas I'd gotten through the first 3/4ths of the story relatively quickly).
If you disregard that part of the story, its pretty good. Not the best sci-fi erotica out there, but a far cry from the worst as well. I liked all the characters, but a little more back-story would have been nice. And its not a very in-depth story, so if thats what youre after, look elsewhere. All together, its a pretty light read (only a little angst) and is a pretty easy to get through even with the bit I didnt like.
Oh and while this is most definitely erotica (or if you prefer, Romantica) it almost seems like erotica-light. It had all the requisite sex scenes, but they werent nearly as intense as Im used to reading --which isnt necessarily bad (unless thats what youre looking for), it just surprised me. If youre new to the genre, or to Ménages this may be a good starting place for you to get an idea of what to expect.
Also keep in mind the whole story is from the heroines point of view. While that usually annoys me to no end, it seemed to fit the story in this case (though I still wouldve preferred to get at few scenes at least from the H, the H, and the Hs point of view)
And even though I wasnt as happy with the ending as Id have liked, theres a sequel in the works that I have every intention of buying!

This book started out very well. It lost steam after awhile. While it was interesting, it wasn't very action-oriented. And then near the end, what I will refer to as a "plot device" threw me, and not in a good way. Overall, the book was an enjoyable read, but definitely not a keeper.
