It's outdated in expressions, dialogue, financials, etc. but still a juicy read!

Ridiculous book! But kind of in a good way.

A novel set in a time when steak, vodka and Benzedrine were the staples of a healthy diet. The "love machine" is Robin Stone, a TV-network titan around whom women flock. Caught up in his meteoric career are three women, each desperate to have him.

Not quite as glamorous as her first book but I loved every bit of it!

this is the 1969 haradcover edition.

though this book takes place in the early 1960's, i did find the story to be timeless. the only time i really realized the time period was when they would talk about salaries - $150 a week was a great wage! oh yeah - and they sent telegrams!

a timeless romance about a series of woman who fall in love with the same man - a man who is unable to feel the emotion of love and equates sex with love.
