I have the rest of the series this is just the right ending for them to have Sherryl is one of my fav authors. Each sister had her own unique concerns and this wAS OF LOVE GONE WRONG BUT THEN A CHANCE TO BE RIGHTED VERY HUMAN REACTIONS NOT GUSSIED UP TO SELL THE BOOK

After high school Jo came to Rose Cottage to visit her grandmother. Pete and Jo fell in love over the summer. Then Jo left to go to college in Boston. Pete promised he would wait for her but within weeks he went to bed with an old friend and she got pregnant. He married her and let Jo's grandmother tell Jo he had married.
Pete is now divorced with a 5 year old son, Jo caught her fiancee in bed with another woman, she goes to Rose Cottage to recover and meets Pete again. He sees Jo is hurting and tries to help her. She doesn't want him around but he stays and stays- finally breaking down her defenses. Do they have a second chance when Pete's ex-wife learns he is dating the woman she blames for the failure of her marriage?
