"Authentic research makes the Highlands a character...
The history of Glencoe is authenticated by research. This book presents a heroine, Leeanne Sullivan, who is not a Rambo, and who tends to sit back and watch people. She was careful about her actions and reactions, a more believable human than many of the heroines featured in modern romances who insist on dominating their worlds. Rather than "handling" her world with physical force Leanne handles her world with intellect and thoughtfulness. This is a good read."
