This is book 10 in the series. Number 9 seemed to wander a bit and left so many unanswered questions. I'm happy to say most of those questions are answered in book 10. In fact, there were a lot of surprises in Book 10, many of which left me somewhat stunned, as I didn't even come close to expecting them.
As such I found this novel---like many in this series---to be another page turner.
I never saw the second TV series based on these novels, as I had stopped watching TV by then. I did see some of the first TV series, which was on TV about 20 years before the second series. But I am now a few books past the ones I saw, so it's all new to me. Two books left to read and I'm looking forward to that experience.
