Oh I truly enjoy this writer. She has such wit and charm that I, again, found myself laughing out loud quite often and close to tears sometimes, too. This is the second of the Highlander series that I have read and I'm finding the rest and reading them too. I hope she continues to write more in this series. You will not be disappointed!

Sadie Quill is hunting for gold, in the hopes it will fund a Park dedicated to her deceased father, who began the search for the long-dead prospectors mine. Instead, she finds a naked man swimming in a lake smack in the middle of her hunting grounds. Discovering the identity of this medieval highlander in modern day Maine will complicate Sadie's search for both the gold and herself. A bit of magic, a bit of love and it's a wonderfully told tale.

I love this series by Janet Chapman so much that I'm working my way through it for the second time. I have vivid images running through my head as I read every page. The more vivid the images, the better the writer, IMHO.
