This is exactly what I'm looking for in a contemporary romance - an imperfect but loving heroine, a tough but tender hero, a connected community, and a cast of quirky secondary characters. If you're looking for a small town read with a happy ending, this is the book for you!

I read this on Kindle as soon as it came out. Now I am waiting on the book so that I can savor it again. I guess I need to start with my usual review of this series.....I want to live in Lucky Harbor!! Ali and Luke are such a perfect pairing. They each have their faults and weaknesses that are completed and healed by the other. Pure escapism!

Ali Winters has a job and a house that she loves. She is also dating and living with what she thinks is her perfect manâ'¦ that is until she catches him with another woman in his office and later ends up getting dumped by him via text. Suddenly the perfect life she thought she had turns even crappier when money goes missing and Ali is the #1 suspect.

Luke Hanover returns to his house in Lucky Harbor after being away for several years. A case he was working on went bad and he needs to lick his wounds and get away from San Francisco and the media hounding him. The last thing he expects or needs is the adorable Ali in his kitchen.

This is one of my favorite series, and I think this was the best book yet. Ali and Luke are the perfect pair and while they try to remain â''just friendsâ'' they seem to be drawn towards each other like two magnets. They find something in the other they didnâ''t even know they were looking for. Their romance was hot and sweet and sometimes even funny. The progression of their relationship felt real because it was written so believably. Theirs is a sigh-worthy romance!

I loved this story from start to finish. Had life not kept getting in my way I would have finished it in no time, it was very hard to set down. If you havenâ''t started this series yet, you are missing out! This is definitely a keeper series, and this book is the best in the bunch. I loved it and I canâ''t wait to read more about the people in Lucky Harbor.

So this one was fun. I liked that Ali was from the "wrong side of the tracks." I liked that her mom and sister were portrayed as loving (but ditsy). Luke had a case that blew up in San Fran. He came back to Lucky Harbor for a break. Luke and Ali's first meeting was hilarious - and different. I enjoyed the mystery aspect too. Now, will Ted have something bad happen to him in a future book I wonder?
