I'm shocked I hated this book, but I did. I couldn't even finish it because it was really boring. I get that Mallory is supposed to be a good girl but the first part of the book was such a drag. She is very dull and never sparks up even with Ty. The glimpses of her in the next book, Mallory is much more fun.
Waste of time even if you are into the series.

Every time I read a Jill Shalvis book I fall in love with the hero and think...this is my favorite Jill Shalvis hero...well Ty Garrison AKA Mysterious cute guy AKA Mr Wrong is officially my new fav Shalvis hero. Love the entire Lucky Harbor series but this one is my fav thus far. Loved Mallory and Ty. If you're looking for a humorous, fun loving romance that's quick to read, this is it. This ones a keeper for me.
A great contemporary romance that moved me to tears more than once. Mallory is used to taking care of everyone around her, but deviates from her "good girl" ways when she intentionally dates Ty, a "Mr. Wrong." Watching his tough guy persona melt in Mallory's warmth is fantastic. The small town interactions of busy bodies and well intentioned family members add to the tale.
Jill Shalvis is my favorite guilty pleasure. I can be stressed or down and her books make me happy. Mallory and Ty's story was no different. I love the interaction of their characters, the support of their friends and the storyline. Love it!
Excellent job with "Mysterious Cute Guy's" back-story. I liked Ty. I disliked Mallory at first- she was too nice/good. She blamed herself for her sister's death and her parents divorce. By the end of the book, she is far more balanced. Both Ty and Mallory are better with each other.
Story of Ty (aka...Mysterious Cute Guy) and Mallory (aka...small town good girl).
I liked this story...very cute. It was your bad boy meets and falls in love with good girl (and vice versa). The author creates an alpha ex-military (possibly suffering from a little bit of PTSD)guy and teams him up with Mallory, who takes care of everyone and is suffering a little PTSD of her own.
While this is #4 of the Lucky Harbor series, it can be a stand-alone to the first three books of this series. However, I would definitely recommended reading books 4-6 in order.
