After reading Elizabeth Amber's first book in the series "Nicholas" (which I really liked) I had great hopes for this series, but unfortunately for me, it seems that each in the series gets less and less interesting, but felt compelled to continue reading them just to see how the story line will end.

At times the story was somewhat predicatable, and felt that she introduced many different elements into the drama of the story, which would have made it more complex and intreresting, but never really resolved any of them satisfactorily, nor did it really continue the saga of this family. Was disappointed, but then again after reading Raine, was not all that surprised that I thought it was just "ok" ( a real let down after the promise that seemed to be there after reading the 1st in the series)

Will definitely not be a "keeper" on my bookshelves :(

The book is really hot like the warning says. But I felt that there was way too much waiting for Lyon and Juliette to be together. The story did not give enough info on how she became into to her Fairy ways. She was an orphan...So how did she get so good. And exactly what was she? I could not really see the connection of what she was. The story left a lot out and the wait for the two to be together was too much. Lyon was made to be sort of clumsy and not really a strong character. He was to easily over taken by the Sibela. I still want to read the other in the series. However this one was the weakest I have read.

Frankly - I didn't like it much. Author was so busy making it erotic that I stopped caring about the characters...

I didn't expect much from this book since I had read so many negative reviews about it. However, I loved it the most of the three. Lyon, the youngest brother, was described in the first two books of the series as probably the shallowest and least able to commit of the three brothers. To my surprise, he turned out to be very warm-hearted, devoted, and loyal to Juliette. He was all of these things, despite the hindrances that kept popping up to keep him from her. I also thought he did a much better job than the other brothers in trying to prepare her for her new life and the role she would play in his monthly "calling" ritual. I thought Juliette was a sweet person who was a good match for Lyon. I was able to understand their connection a little better than I did that of the other two brothers - I couldn't quite wrap my head around Raine's attraction to Jordan, and Nicholas and Jane approached things more from the standpoint of duty and custom so it took longer to see affection grow between them.

As with all of Elizabeth Amber's books on the Lords of Satyr, this one packs a erotic punch. To get the most out of this series they need to be read in order. Another for my keeper shelf!

Of the three brothers in this series I have to say I enjoyed this one the most, although they have all been very good! I look forward to reading even more books from Elizabeth Amber.
