This was a great book. I loved the whole series. Daniel MacGregor is one of the best characters I've ever seen. Laughed my way thru the series because of him. Wish he wasn't 90 years old yet. I could stand to read about him arranging his great-grandchildren's love lives. Great!!!
As are all of Nora Roberts books, this is a facinating read. This has two very romantic stories - One about Robert and one about Cybil. You may have read other books about the MacGregors. If so, then you know some of the same characters. You won't regret reading this!
Great book. I have loved the MacGregor series.
I never tire of the this "saga" Enjoy!
Two books in one, a great novel!
The Winning Hand
When Darcy Wallace spends her last three dollars at the hotel casino and wins a jackpot worth almost two million dollars, all casino manager Robert MacGregor Blade wants to do is look out for her. But something about the lovely young woman is getting under Mac's skin and playing havoc with his big brotherly intentions. And to win her over, he'll have to take the biggest gamble of his life.
The Perfect Neighbor
Brooding loner Preston McQuinn's new apartment, like his life, was just the way he wanted itâdark and empty. But when sunny Cybil Campbell came barging into his well-ordered gloom, he couldn't deny a grudging fascination with his bright, bubbly neighbor. Preston thought he'd closed the door on love for good, so why was he suddenly longing to open up his heart to his incredibly perfect neighbor?

Daniel MacGregor is my favorite character! His meddling is so great! It's best developed character from book to book! It just makes you want to read each one! "Grooms" has some of the romantic. "Cybil" has some of the humorous! LOL really!
I tried to read them in Chronological order - "Daniel/Ian"; "Serena/Caine"; "Alan/Grant"; "Brides"; "Robert"; "Grooms"; "Cybil". Fantastic series!! It's not how they were written, but great nontheless.
