This series was originally published in 1995 and involves the four McKade brothers and the town of Antietam, Maryland. Lots of information about the Civil War battle fought there, and how the two oldest brothers fall in love. I just love Nora Robert's series books involving family members.

Another series about brothers. The Mackades are just as fun as Nora's Quinn brothers. An excellent series!
The story of these two brothers made me wish for two of my own! Their strenghts and weaknesses,their love of family, friends and the love of their life - unwavering.
The MacKade series was and is one of my alltime favorite series by Nora Roberts! I have read all of her books but these brothers got me from go. I had borrowed these books. I hated finishing the last book and returning them so much I bought them so I could revisit them later.
Was great not just a romance but had an actual plot.
The MacKade brothers series is excellent writing and ghostly fun!

I love Nora Roberts and I was especially impressed with this book. I fell head over heals in love with the MacKade brothers instantly. Nora has such a wonderful way of telling a story that pulls you in and makes you forget everything around you. This will definantly be one of those books that I read a few times.

Good romance and true to life situations. Both stories follow each other for a great reading experience.
Loved this book. Another Nora Roberts classic where she pulls you into the story, making you feel as if you're part of the MacKade family. I can't wait until July for the next installment :)
Bad boys....now that says a lot, doesn't it? Bad boys grown up (mostly) into sexy, attractive and interesting men. Two short stories about the (bad boy) brothers, who fall in love...Very strong characters and I love how the story continues, two brothers in this one, loved it!

Once again Nora Roberts wrote a fantastic book! It had romance and comedy in it.I am looking forward to her next book about the other 2 MacKade brothers,Shane and Devin.I hope it is as good as this book was.If you are a Nora Roberts fan,this book will not disappoint you.

A two in one novel. This is the story of two brouthers,determined to stay single they are very surprised when they both fall in love. Very good book. After you read this, look for the next one. Devlin and Shane
Interesting quick read!
An enjoyable read as all of Nora Roberts stories
In usual Nora Roberts style, she weaves a wonderfully romantic tale of the "older Mackade Brothers." Devin and Shane are equally intriguing !! Easy Reads - Great Stories !!!

I enjoyed this book. I have to say I found Rafe More interesting then Jared. A good read. Can't wait to read the 2nd series about Devlin and Shane.
This was one of my first Nora Roberts book I read. It got me hooked on All of Nora's book. I couldn't put it down and I have to get the second book that belonged with this book. =) Happy Reading.
