The Mackenzie family has gathered at Kilmorgan Castle to celebrate the holidays with their family and friends and many things are happening. Daniel is home from university. Mac is working on a surprise portrait to give to Isabella for Christmas. The family searches for Cameron and Ainsley's young child when she disappears. Isabella's sister, Louisa, makes her move under the mistletoe with the Mackenzie's half-brother, Lloyd Fellows. One of Ian's priceless Ming bowls is accidentally broken by Beth. And Eleanor and Hart await the birth of their first child.
This is a must-read for any fans of Ashley's Highland Pleasures series. I enjoyed all of the individual stories and the thoughtful gifts they gave each other for Christmas. I'm looking forward to Louisa and Lloyd's story. My rating: 4 Stars.

OMG, such a sweet story. All of the members of the Mackenzie family featured in this book. Ian with his ming bowls all the way to Mac's painting and Hart first born child. I've always loved the Mackenzie family and will always be on the lookout for more. This is really a perfect christmas(gift) story to end the year 2013.

How wonderful to revisit the MacKenzie family, especially Ian, who always been my favorite in this series. How delicious to see these strong, forceful men become so loving and tender towards their wives. 4 stars.

I enjoyed this book immensely. This book encompassed all the characters I've grown to love. This book give's readers like me a peek into the life of each character after their initial books were finished. It's a fantastic squeal.
In this shorty story the Mackenzies gather for a clan Christmas and New Year's in Scotland. In the chaos of preparations for the celebration--the first of Hart and Eleanor's married life--one of Ian's Ming bowls gets broken, and the family scrambles to save the day. Throughout this book Eleanor, Hart's wife, is bedridden due to her pregnancy. Ian begins a new obsession, and Beth fears the loss of one of his precious bowls has made him withdraw once more into his private world.
This story beautifully encompass all characters and gives a glimpse into what the next book will be about.
