Sabine meets her twin sister and gets to know her mage heritage. While the story has action and mystery,I felt there was something missing. Overall a good book.
Sabina arrives in NY to meet her twin, Maisie. She creates havoc when she "poaches" in Central Park and must have a duel with the Alpha were. An old flame from the past appears to cause more problems. Interesting twists and turns as Sabina struggles to find the mage in herself. 3.75 stars
Sabina is back and getting to know the mage side of herself. She travels to New York City with the her new love interest, the mage Adam. There she meets her twin sister Maisie. While Sabina attends magic school, gets to know her long lost sister, plots revenge against her grandmother Lavinia, attempts to keep her Demon (Gighul) content, she must also try to figure out who keeps trying to kill her.
In Book 2 of the Sabina Kane saga we get to see Sabina's harsh exterior begin to melt. We also get to know Slade the hot vamp that used to be intimate with Sabina. We are introduced to some new forms of demons. We learn more about the Caste of Nod.
The book is fast paced with plenty of fun and excitement and an epic battle to boot. If you liked the first Sabina Kane novel you will certainly enjoy this one.

Another good one. Sabina runs into an old "friend" from her assassin days. When Slade was first introduced, my first thought was, "shit, not a love triangle!" Big sigh of relief! Since Adam was gone on a trip for the council, no love triangle here! Sabina was free to (kinda) figure out what she wanted/needed. Interesting development with the Caste, I didn't see that coming. I thought (and was right-for a change) I knew who the mage was and she had an appropriate punishment. Loved Giguhl.
