I really loved this book. It is the second in the series The Daughters of Jacob Kane. The middle sister, Maggie Rose, has gone to New York CIty to work at The Sheltering Arms, a home for orphans and/or abandoned children. There she meets many wonderful and interesting characters in this well-written book. Highly recommended!
