I love the Drake series. I started with Libby and decided to see what started the series, so bought Abigail and Sarah...I was so dissapointed in this book. It is so short and completely undeveloped. After reading Libby and Abigails stories which were amazing and well thoughtout with well developed characters, this one was a huge dissappointment. Maybe the problem was that I was going backwards and the series was not really thought out until Abigails book. I would skip this book and go straight to Abigails book (Oceans of Fire) instead. Really...you are not missing anything.
This book is MUCH shorter than I had expected. Only 103 pages - a novella, really.

A very short story. 100 pages. This is a nice cute fast introduction to the Drake Sisters. I am looking forward to the others.

Great book. Great begining to the series. This is a short and quick read that will wet your appetite for the rest of the sisters' stories.

If you love books about witches and like a bit of romance added, this book and the volumes to follow are for you. This book involves the eldest of 7 sisters who are known in their small seacoast town as women with special gifts. Christine Feehan is one of my favorite authors and this series is another special one.

This is the first book in the Drake sisters series. I read several others first, but enjoyed this as much as the others. It was a very quick read and exciting through until the end.

this is more of a novella than a book. Not many pages. None the less its a very interesting read you will not want to put it down.
What a wonderful surprise for such a quick read only 103 pages....first in the Drake sister series...can't wait to read the rest...
Short paperback. The first story in the Drake Sisters series.
feehan's series on the drake series. quick easy read, worth the read.
The first of the Drake Sisters series. A small book, but it sets the stage for the ones that follow.
Praise for her blend of action, suspense, and erotically charged romance. New Yorks bestselling author Christine Feehan presents the story of Sarah, the eldest of the extraordinary-and magical-Drake sisters, now rewritten and expanded, in this very special collector's edition...
A good fast read.....
Sarah's come home. Ever since Damon Wilder sought refuge in the Sea Haven, he's heard the same breathless rumor pass the lips of nearly every local in the sleepy coastal town. Even the wind seems to whisper her name-a reverie so powerfully suggestive that it carries the curious Damon to Sarah's clifftop home, and seeks to shelter him there.
But Damon has not arrived alone. Two men have tracked him to Sea Haven, and into the shadows of Drake House, where Sarah hides her own secrets. And danger-as well as desire more urgent than either has ever known-is just a whisper away....

Excellent story - the first of the Drake Sisters tale -
Feehan delivers as always.
This book was way to short it needed a full length novel, she's a great writer but there was'nt enough pages to fit the whole story in
A re-issue of the story included in the anthology called Lover Beware. Although this stand-alone version includes a bonus chapter.
Very short story! I was a little disappointed.

Seven sisters live in a sleepy coastal town. Between them, they control the land, sea and air and have many hidden "bewitching" talents. When the oldest sister, Sarah, meets and falls in love with Damon, a retired scientist that has bad guys chasing after him, the prophecy begins. The other six sisters will also fall in love (like a column of dominos), whether they're prepared to or not. This is the first book in the DRAKE SISTERS anthology/collection.
This is a very quick read. It is short and thin -- just over 100 pages. The story is fine and has possibilities, but there isn't the development I prefer.
I liked Sarah and Damon but the sory was too short. But I cant wait to read about the rest of the sisters. I love Christine Feehan.
Great fast read. Makes you want to read about the rest of the sisters.
This is a short story book about the Drake sisters. What can you say about Christine Feehan except she's always at her best.

great short story -- I would have liked it to be longer...
Although I was sorry to see how short this was since I love her books, the story was up to par and fast paced. A joy to read with or without reading about the other sisters.
This book is short,only 103 pgs,but a great read!
Great short read of magic and love.
a quick read about the first/oldest Drake sister, Sarah.. I found it to be a nice quick read but done in genuine Feehan style! cant wait to get the rest of the series to read..

I enjoyed reading this book. It is a smaller booker, but just as good as Oceans of Fire.

This was a good beginning of a series. There were some questions that I had that didn't quite get answered but perhaps they will in the other books in the series.
This is a short(103 pages) book. Enjoyable read, especially if you are a Christine Feehan fan.
This is the tale of Sarah, the eldest of the extraordinary Drake sisters. This rewritten and expanded version of her story tells of her passionate romance with Damon Wilder, whose arrival spells not only desire, but danger.
Excellent short story. Introduces the Drake sisters--this is the story of Sarah-the oldest. Will hook you in and make you want to know more about the rest of the sisters. So good.
This is the 1st in the series of the Drake Sisters and the 1st book I've read by this author. I look forward to reading the rest of this series. This was a good book.
A very enjoyable short story.
Really like this series, can't wait to read the rest.
a little short on story line. others are more detailed.
The story of Sarah, the eldest of the extraordinary-and magical-Drake sisters....
This is a great short escape from reality. Not for someone who likes long books only. This is almost like a commercial during daily life :)
small book. quick read

Small book that appears to be the beginning of a series, but that is not made plain.

a drake sisters novella.
this is a great short read and helps with understanding some people in the Drake sisters series.
Feehan's Drake sisters fascinate me. This is Sarah's story (the eldest of the seven sisters) and the beginning of the prophecy of the Gate. It has danger, desire, all wrapped up in the paranormal.
I received the book very quickly and was so pleased.
Sarah's come home!!!
