In this short (159pp)translated edition of the Maigret series, by Georges Simeon, Chief Superintendant Maigret is called upon to solve with much help attempted killing of his colleague, detective Lognon. We learn a little about the art selling community of Paris and Europe in this always surprising story of twists and one final turn.
Interestingly, in England, they published this story as Maigret and the Ghost. Think you will enjoy.
