A member requested 17 books from me, I thought about mailing them in two envelopes with PBS postage. The Books to Mail page gives you the option of mailing books seperately, but apparently only one each time. Is there any way to split the books between two packages?

I'll probably hunt up a box and ship them all together, but I would still like to know if I could do two packages.

Perhaps you can generate a second printable postage label by creating a mail-to-a-friend transaction for a random book.

See Help article about mail-to-a-friend feature: "Can I send a book to a friend or a non-member Ior to myself at an alternate address)?"
Excerpt from article:   This feature can also be used to generate postage if you have to remail a book (for example if you have printed postage already from a swap but used it to mail the wrong book; you can generate new postage from a "mail-to-friend" transaction to re-mail the correct book).

Whoa! Diane, Are you a long time member? You sound like one of those technology experts who know ways around a problem due to their experience.   While I'd be interested in ideas from others, I think I have a box big enough to pack these books in. But I doubt it would fit into my mailbox. So a trip to the P.O. seems to be in my future.

Thanks!

Diane's clever solution would work, for future refererence. You'd have to adjust the weight on both mailing wrappers if you aren't mailing from the Post Office. Another option is to ask the Admin Team to divide the request into two parts. You'd specify which titles are going in one box, and which are going in the oher box.
