This was the best book in the series so far. The focus was more on the mystery, instead of all the personal drama.

This is the 6th Goldy culinary mystery. As good as they all are - this one features Marla little more & Arch now has a dog - a retired bloodhound from the Sheriff's department!

This is a mostly light-hearted mystery in spite of multiple murders, and it includes what look like mouth-watering recipes from our heroine's recipe box. Good fun!
From back cover: A golden opportunity---For caterer Goldy Schulz, who's been worrying about her cash flow, the chance to work for a high-powered company like Prospect Financial Partners seems like a dream come true. But it turns out to be murder...in every sense of the word.
An immensely wealthy client---When Goldy is hired to cater a party to kick off Prospect's latest venture---the reopening of the Eurydice Gold Mine--she prepares a feast fit for a king. Yet the Tomato-Brie Pie has barely been served when all hell breaks loose--and the main culprit is Goldy's best friend, Marla.
A killer dying to cash in---As Goldy works furiously to restore her business by whipping up shrimp-studded Plantation Pilaf and Sour Cresf-Cherry Coffee Cake, she finds herself drawn into a case of stolen millions and multiple homicides. She needs to discover which of the victims is the main corpse in order to unravel the mystery that threatens to cancel out her friend's dearest asset--her life.
