I loved Stephanie's first book but this one just isn't doing it for me. It doesn't seem that much different but I don't like how most recipes call for dairy or meat or canned foods. Like my title said I think my dissatisfaction with this book is more because we've gradually changed our eating habits to dairy free and now aren't eating meat. I'm disappointed to say I'm returning it.
But for anyone who's starting out to slow cooking or more especially looking for a good slow cooker book on a budget this is probably the book for them.
