A very interesting book. Complete instructions on how to make your own shoes in a few basic styles that can be made into an amazing variety of shoes, boots, and sandals. Includes a detailed section about leather. Sole materials, padding, and tools are discussed. A section on feet discusses the different type of feet and their owners and growing feet with suggestions on what shoes and materials will work best for each. Written as a starter book for someone who wants to start their own custom shoe business, but could easily be used by the hobbyist.

Highly recommended for anyone who likes to make things and has trouble getting shoes to fit.
