This book is a requirement for fans of "Malice Mizer". Merveilles was the last concert tour of the band before Gackt (main vocalist) withdrew from the band and Kami (drummer) died (brain aneurysm).

Gackt's voice is rare in that he can sing both extremely low and high. He can sing higher than some female sopranos. When he left Malice Mizer fell apart and the band never went on tour again. All of the members are still active in other groups, except the bassist Yuki.

This concert is famous due to the opening and ending sequence where Gackt wears black wings as he descends to the stage. The wings were extremely heavy, yet Gackt sang a whole song wearing them. The entire band wore different types of wings (butterfly, moth, etc.) but Gackt's were the largest since the other members had instruments to contend with.

Malice Mizer tried to be the best musically and visually. Wearing heavy and hot costumes that were detailed and colorful was showcased fully in this concert.
This book gives detailed pictures of the band preparing and rehearsing. The pictures of the concert are excellent, and show the detail of the costume's worn by the band.

All pictures are full color. Imported from Japan. Rare (Limited Release) Book.
