Lovely Book, my daughter had me read it to her over and over again until she was reading it herself. She is 19 years old today and still remembers this book. One day I'll give the book back to her child. Can't go wrong with book.

A sweet little board book about a llama named Lloyd who is searching for his mama. Along the way, he meets a seal, a cow, a bat, and other creatures, including his cousin, and finally meets up with his mama. The rhythm is a little off in some of the sections, which makes it hard for me (an English teacher!) to read sometimes, but the great pictures and gentleness of the book make up for the meter issues.

My children love this book and request it often.

This book is a favorite of my daughter's. I started reading it to her when she was 2 years old. She's not 2 anymore but she still likes the book. The catchy rhymes keep everything fun and light-hearted. The drawings are great too. They really capture what's going on. This is a great book for toddlers and even young preschool children. It's one of those books you can read to your child over and over again and not get bored of it even though you're an adult.

Love this little book! Great illustrations and a cute little animal storyline. My mom read it to me as a child and it was always one of our favorites.

It is for young children and mine have loved having it read aloud with its playful rhythm. It shows habitats and animals with their mothers. Those clues help the child guess which animal is being spoken of! The illustrations by Steven Kellogg have a beautiful watercolor feel. This book was highly recommended to me and I pass it on to you!
